Brotherly Love
It’s hard to choose the best video on YouTube to capture the craziness of Noel Gallagher’s attack at Toronto’s V-Fest on September 7, 2008.
During the band’s performance of, “Morning Glory,” a fan rushed stage, knocked Noel to the ground and quickly ran after Liam Gallagher. Security caught him before he could successfully knock Liam down as well.
Liam was restrained, unable to retaliate after 47-year-old, Daniel Sullivan. The group quickly exited stage, along with security and the attacker.
The band returned to the stage shortly after to complete their set. The band performed, “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall,” “Shock of Lightning” and a cover of The Beatles classic, “I am The Walrus.”
Noel was taken to the hospital after the show for injuries sustained from falling over a heavy monitor. Oasis’ team worried about torn ligaments and a fractured rib.
Sullivan was taken into police custody and will be charged with assault.
