The only difference is clearly Bloc Party didn’t want to lip sync. The British rock Gods appeared at the Brazil MTV Awards on October 2, 2008. The band took no initiative to cover up they were pretending to play. It was obvious it was not the band’s choice. If it was they would have attempted to look like they were actually playing.

I found this video very entertaining and made me respect them more as artists standing up against the big corporation. Perhaps they will reign longer.
