Drifting and Tilting
Damon Albarn (Blur), Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) and Dot Allison (Babyshambles) will be featured in a production at Barbican Theatre in Central London titled, “Drifting and Tilting: The Songs of Scott Walker.”
Scott Walker, a.k.a. Noel Scott Engel from Hamilton, Ohio, started in music in the 1960’s. Since he has had a successful career- both in bands and solo.
The production is directed by Walker and will feature his original works- performed by others.
It includes Walker’s band as well as a 42 piece orchestra.
The show runs from November 13 through November 15.
saturday nov 15th will see the barbican cinema reprise the film ’scott walker - 30 century man’ the afternoon prior to the show. (ps…the film will finally be out in the usa starting in december!)
