After recent denials Damon Albarn told BBC Radio 1 on Wednesday, “It’sw very possible I’ll go back to Blur. It really is very possible.”
Albarn recently met with former Blur guitarist, Graham Coxon, for a friendly lunch. Coxon left Blur in 2002 due to personal and musical conflicts. Blur went on to release their seventh studio album, “Think Tank” in 2003 and then disbanded. Although the band never officially broke up, each member has moved on to various solo projects.
“The truth be known, Graham and I have been hanging out together a bit,” Albarn said. “He’s great, it’s fantastic to get my old friend back. So it’s good but I can’t really say more than that.”
Albarn is currently in the midst of the new Gorillaz album.
