Pete Doherty and… The Who..?

Pete Doherty is teaming up with The Who’s Roger Daltrey on January 12 at Bristol Academy. The single gig is to raise money for the famous Moonfest which Babyshambles was banned from last summer.

Doherty and Daltrey met at a funeral of a 16 year-old cancer patient, Daniel Squires. Doherty performed a song and Daltrey was impressed with his vocal ability.

It’s Time!

Take That’s long awaited album, Circus was released last week with phenomenal sales. The album, in long controversy with Britney Spears’ Circus, debuted at number one.

The fifth studio album from the group broke first day sales records of the year selling 133,000 copies. Britney Spears’ sixth effort debuted at number four behind The Killers and Leona Lewis.

Emergency copies of Circus were sent to stores after it was announced not all branches of Woolworths, Zawi and WH Smith did not have copies. This leaves the number even more impressive.

The album features single, “Greatest Day” which has been number one since release. The album is expected to be a big seller during the Christmas season.

Oasis have released an iTunes exclusive EP for their latest single, “I’m Outta Time.” The album version of the single, penned by Liam Gallagher, is available for download along with:
