Super Changes

Supergrass has done what any respectable band would do… started their own label. The band mutually parted ways with Parlophone (owned by EMI) after 14 years. The band were on the label since 1994’s debut album “Caught by the Fuzz.”
Supergrass did not like the changes at Parlophone in the past year and decided it was best for their music to leave.
Bassist Mickey Quinn told BBC, “When you’re footing the bill you pull your horns in. In a lot of ways that makes you more creative.”
Quinn has been named the band’s managing director following their departure.
Their latest single, “Rebel in you,” is available for purchase through supergrass.com.
The band is in preparation for a New Year’s Eve gig at Belfast’s City Hall. The band will be supported by The Pigeon Detective and General Fiasco.
