Gary Barlow is Britain’s Top Songwriter
“Have a little patience. Still hurting from a love I lost. I’m feeling your frustration, in a minute all the pain will stop,” just an excerpt from “Patience” by Take That. The song that brought them back. There’s no denying the group creates great pop music, but there is one member in particular responsible for most of the pieces.
In a poll on onepoll.com, taken by 3,000 music fans in the United Kingdom, Barlow was crowned king.
The 38-year-old popster was named Britain’s Greatest Song Writer of all time.
A spokesperson for the Web site said Barlow, “have been responsible for the some of the biggest hits of the past decade”.
John Lenon, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin and George Michael finished in the top five. Noel Gallagher and Kate Bush were not far behind.
