Comedian Simon Pegg is best known for his roles on cult classic shows like Spaced and spoof movies “Hot Fuzz” and “Shaun of the Dead,” but Britain’s funny man wants to expand his resume.
In a recent interview with GQ, Pegg said, “I’d love to direct some day. Doing a music video would be a great start.” Pegg mentioned that he spoke with Chris Martin a few times to write a script for one of his songs.
It wouldn’t be the first collaboration for the two. Pegg joined Coldplay on stage in 2008 playing harmonica during “Green Eyes.”

Noel Gallagher may have met his match. After running his mouth to the press about his dislike for the Kaiser Chiefs, calling their music inadequate, drummer Andrew White fired back at a Singapore press conference.

Victoria Beckham has nabbed a guest spot on an unlikely show, Spongebob Squarepants. I bet Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn are excited to see their mom on a show geared for their age group. Beckham will play the voice of Queen Amphitrite, a posh Queen, too appropriate. The episode, Neptune’s Party, has no release date yet.
While having fun with Nickelodeon voice overs, Desperate Housewives tried to nab Mrs. Beckham for a guest starring role, but Beckham refused because she is too busy at this time. She has already had a guest starring role on Ugly Betty, the voice over at least expands her resume.

The band is not touring this summer, but is playing many festivals.
“I feel really fresh about the band - I guess generally we’re still just such friends. It’s cool, we’ve just been having fun really.” Think any songs were inspired by his “ex” Mischa Barton? Most likely not…
